We returned to this bakery just recently while staying in town for a 4 day vacation. I can honestly say the quality of their pastries (flaky,moist & not too sweet) and cookies were outstanding. The marion berry cheese danish, cherry danish, lemon square and chocolate chip cookie did not disappoint. The ham and cheese sandwich on rye bread was also very good.
You must try the Keylime pie! It's one of the best I've ever had. Also, the pecan rolls. Where can you get pia pecan rolls in Monterey... Only at Fournier's Bakery.
Every baked treat I've had from here is delicious; from the Marion berry tart to the apple danish to the giant cinnamon rolls. They are all drool worthy and have me returning whenever I'm craving a sweet treat on a workday. The sandwiches are classic and delicious. Can't go wrong with the turkey sandwich. Thank you!
I hate to tell you how amazing the bear claws are, it's already hard to get one because they sell out so fast! The muffins, bars, and pies are also delicious. Homemade chicken soup, with homemade noodles, is always a go-to. And the Grove Cookie is my favorite indulgence. Sandwiches are yummy and very filling. I can't say how much I love this place.
